Communication was excellent and we even participated in the initial treatment planning meeting. My mother in law didn't live long enough for more meetings. The meals were hearty and looked like old fashioned, meat and potatoes type, food that elderly people would love. My mother in law was lactose intolerant and we brought in lactose free ice cream for her, which they kept in their freezer and it was never a problem with them giving her inappropriate food. The Auberge has a very homey, living room look in their main day room with attached dining area that I found very comfortable. Also, instead of one big facility, The Auberge is divided into 4 identical small buildings called cottages and so if someone is moved from one to another, there is no confusion as it looks exactly the same.
