My Dad at Country Meadows
My 91 year old father moved to an apartment at Country Meadows in Wyomissing about a year ago, soon after his wife passed. He was reluctant to leave his home, but once he accepted that continuing to live at home alone was not realistic, he signed up for an apartment in the Independent Living wing. After a year's experience, my dad is happy with everything the facility offers. He lives in a safe environment and gets the opportunity to mingle with other people his age on a daily basis. Occasionally, my husband and I reach out to the administrative staff at Country Meadows for guidance or help, and we've always gotten what we need.

Country Meadows
Of course my mother did not want to go, but the transition was easier then expected with no pressure from Country Meadows. Now that she is there, you can see that she is much more active and happier even though she might not admit it. Lots of activities every day and live music on the piano. Staff is friendly and the food seems to be good. The costs are expensive but no higher than anywhere else we looked. All around good place with everything she needs.

Life is wonderful at Country Meadows!
Well I could write a book, but will keep it short as to not run out of space. My mother in law was in Country Meadows several years ago. I loved it then, and I love it now! After my dad passed we moved my mother, who is 92, from her home in Lancaster into the personal care unit in Wyomissing to be closer to me. Although I looked at other places, Country Meadows, hands down was the best place for my mom! The staff, and I mean ALL THE STAFF that I have encountered have been kind, friendly, and caring. The meals are outstanding! She is definitely eating well that’s for sure!! She participates in a variety of activity classes, exercise classes as well as attending Devotions a few times a week. I could not be happier with her living here, it has given me true peace of mind.
