Exceptional Experience and great communication from United One Home Care
My dad was diagnosed with cancer a few months back and we needed a compassionate home care agency that was licensed by the state. This was a big challenge giving most of the home care agencies here are non medical. We came across United One while browsing for good caregiving agencies. [nam

My dad was diagnosed with cancer a few months back and we needed a compassionate home care agency that was licensed by the state. This was a big challenge giving most of the home care agencies here are non medical. We came across United One while browsing for good caregiving agencies. [name removed] who I believe is the care supervisor set us up for a free in home consultation. I was highly impressed by the proficiency and knowledge of the nurse that ran the assessment that we decided to go ahead and sign them up for 24 hour care. They never missed a single day and were always on time. My mom specifically enjoyed [name removed]who was just incredible. He eventually passed away early Oct and we couldn't be more grateful to United One for the love and compassion they showed my family. I highly recommend them and believe they truly care and love what they do.

Care for Dementia client
We hired 24 care for my 86 year old mother who has the beginning stages of dementia and severe depression. We shared a list with [name removed] of routine chores that can be done at the home, as well as some of the things my mother enjoys doing like playing card or board games or just talking. She indicated she would ensure her staff would take care of these. My stepsister was with my mother when the first caregiver, [name removed], came out to the house. She asked him to walk around the house and get familar/acclimated as to where things were. She and mother went in to the dining room and [name removed] walked into the living room and laid on the floor and was on his phone. A call was placed to [name removed] who apologized and noted he would be pulled and would not return and there would be no charge for that shift. The other caregivers that were there, most specifically [name removed] and [name removed] did only some of the chores and my mother noted were napping frequently during the daytime. [name removed] was pleasant and did giv

It was expensive but worth it because I was able to have my wife in her own bed in her own house. That lasted for a little while. Some of the staff wasn't so wonderful but they did what they needed too. It gave me release from my guard duty to go shopping or whatever needed to be done. I was not able to do these things before. Once I had this help, it allowed me to be gone for a short while. The guy that runs this place is a straight up guy.

Frequently Asked Questions
about United One Home Care

A Place for Mom has scored United One Home Care 7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
