Regular staff are kind. However, agency fill in staff predominates and will tell you they don’t know anything. Constant staff rotation so residents don’t get to know or trust caregivers. Poor communication with families. Staffing ratio is not what was promised. The facility is clean. There is a lot for residents to do. They are well looked after. The food is fair, but there are a lot of options. The administration is great to work with. Some of the aides are great and others are fair, but most were very good. The nurses overall were good and on top of things, as needed. There was not a lot of turn over, so they seemed to enjoy their job which spilled over to the patients. I would recommend this facility to others. In 2016 our community was completely renovated and updated adding 10 suites in our special memory care wing. The entire building was refurbished and elegantly appointed for the residents enjoyment and comfort. We have added a library, ladies tea room, sewing circle, sports lounge with game room. All lounges include large flat screen TV's which the residents can control. Our bistro is open 24/7 where residents and their loved ones can enjoy a beverage and socialization or just watch the news. Our Health and Wellness Room has exercise equipment that our therapists can train our residents to use. We have fireplaces throughout the building including our new memory care wing that is secured with Vigil Silent Monitoring System. Interactive artworks and special care directors are on staff 24/7 to help coordinate activities and care for those residents who need more assistance. We have outdoor patios and an enclosed, safe patio outside of our secured memory care unit. Our Director of Nursing as well as Activities Director and all Special Care Directors are Dementia Care Certified as well. We have won many awards for our community.
