They truly go above and beyond!
We had approximately two weeks to find a place for my sister in law(note during the hardest part of year- Christmas and New Years)! We contacted a place for mom and explained our situation. An appointment was made the next day to visit Seneca Terrace. What we observed during our visit made our decision easy. Residents were friendly and seemed happy. Staff were very thorough and took an active interest in my sister in law’s wishes. We moved her in quickly- I made the comment on how accommodating everyone was. We are in our second month now and feel such a relief that my sister in law is happy and safe there. We must recognize [name removed] who deserves five stars for being so caring and does so much more than his job description. Also A Place for Mom is a godsend! They listened to our needs and made a perfect match.

Mom in memory care
Alzheimer’s is an awful disease. My mom doesn’t remember me. She looks good and she likes the food. She likes the entertainment. The staff are helpful. It is clean. I would like her cleaner as far as clothes and hair but it is hard to give people with Alzheimer’s a bath. She has been in a respite spot for over sixty days but will be full time soon. She will stay there as long as they can take care of her. They are doing a good job better than I could give her. They also got her in quickly! I couldn’t care for her anymore and I am relieved how it turned out.

Unfortunately our mother was not at Seneca Lake Terrace for more than 2 months
We liked it & she liked it
Her room was very nice and the staff were wonderful
She fell & broke bones and needed to go into a Rehab for PT
The assessment is that she needs skilled nursing & won't be able to return to Seneca Lake Terrace
We wish she could go back

A nice community with areas of improvement
The food that is prepared is good and my loved one has her own room. However, there could be some areas of improvements - the facilities could be cleaner, the residents could go outside more and there could be more social stimulation for them.

Seneca Terrace is very supportive and approachable regarding any questions or concerns. Always willing to assist however they can. It is a family friendly atmosphere. They understand the challenges of their residents and work with the family to best meet their needs.

A nice community with areas of improvement
The meals that are prepared are good, our loved one has her own room which is something we like about the community. The improvements can be with the cleanliness, the facilities themselves could be cleaner. They could take the residents outside more and have more social stimulation for the residents.

A Great Experience
My Aunt was very happy at Seneca Lake Terrace. Overall they did a great job taking care of her. We did have to remind them a few times to clean up the room better but overall a clean environment.
The furniture and furnishings could use an upgrade (at that time 2021) however, the care was the most important and they did a great job.
I would recommend Seneca Lake Terrace.

My loved one is in the memory care unit. I am there every day. I have found the aides to be kind, caring, well-trained and patient. Virtually everyone at Seneca Lake Terrace has been helpful, empathetic and kind. Every aide knows the residents and how best to work with them. Any criticisms I may have, pale in comparison with the treatment of residents.

Comfort for dad!!
The staff is great at Seneca Lake Terrace. The nurses make sure my father takes his medications and that he is showered and shaved. The care is excellent. I have looked at the menu for the meals that they offer and they do have choices healthy options, I have not had a meal there myself, but my father is constantly telling how much they have to offer in term of food. It has been a good experience.

Great care for loved ones
This is a nice community. A good enviroment and the staff are very helpful and caring. The community is beautiful and decorated very nice. The food is outstanding and nicely served. The activiites are offer to him to particiapte. I highly recommend this community to other families for excellent care

We have been very pleased with everything that is going with this community. The environment is a good positive one for my mother in law. The food is fine for the most part. I like that the staff keep trying to get my mother in law involved in different activities.
