Our brother [name removed] was a resident at Quality Care for the past year, until his recent passing. The owner, [name removed], the administration, health care aides, and support staff were genuinely caring and supportive of both [name removed]and our family. They were always responsive and communicative with us about any concerns or issues we had. They provided many activities and services for the residents and the families, and the facilities and property were top-notch. Quality Care of Howell is a family operated, assisted living facility licensed as an Adult Foster Care. It was founded by a team of individuals with the tools and background necessary to provide housing, health care and supportive services for individuals who need assistance in their everyday lives. Our staff at Quality Care of Howell has warmth and respect for our residents. Being a family owned business, we treat our residents like they are our own family. Quality Care of Howell is always staffed 24 hours a day, so that each resident receives exceptional care and assistance. Our staff is well-trained in first aid, CPR, caregiving and all types of emergencies.
Before a resident moves in, we meet with each resident and family to assess their own preferences and needs establishing whether there is a need for support or additional assistance with their lifestyle. Wellness and health assessments are conducted on a regular basis as needed.

My dad is currently a resident at Quality Care of Howell. Every time I have visited, my dad's place is neat and well taken care of. The move was difficult because we needed a place rather quickly for my dad, but his room is very nice and it seems like the staff are caring as well. I would definitely highly recommend this facility to others.

It is difficult to find the right words to express my gratitude and appreciation for the level of care that is provided to each resident at Quality Care Howell. From day one administration and care providers created an environment of safety, kindness, support and seemed to make it their role to know the needs of each and every resident and to provide individualized care accordingly. Quality Cares goal is to help residents feel secure, special and a part of a larger Quality Care "family". The facility and accommodations are lovely and spacious. I have always observed an immaculate level of cleanliness. There are various amenities, i.e. meal program, have clean laundry, library, salon, holiday parties, etc. We could not have found a more perfect fit for my mom. If you are considering assisted living for a loved one, I would highly encourage that you explore the options at Quality Care of Howell.

Horrible place
To much drama, under paid staff, favoritism when it comes to staff, this just is a horrible place to send your family members there is so much drama coming from management that the residents don’t get the care that they need

Don't Let the Good Looks Fool You
Don't let the 4 1/2 stars fool you...[name removed] is a micro-manager (son of the owner) and this b.s. about them caring about the residents so much is a total fabrication. Their only interest is MONEY first, and MONEY second!
If you're looking to die of starvation, come here...I have to push myself to eat their slop...it is the worst cooking (that's a stretch) I have ever seen. The have three cooks with zero years of culinary experience. High turnover of employees...if you have no ethics work here.
Seniors, don't waste your time on this place. The facility looks nice, but don't let the looks fool you.

This is hands down the nicest assisted living facility in Livingston County. They are relatively new so still working out some kinks - mainly with caregiver turnover, from what I can tell, but let's face it - this is an extremely difficult and draining job. I can honestly say that my mother received very good care at QC. The director is very, very hands-on and wears a lot of hats. The food is very thoughtfully planned and the facility is well-kept. The only reason I did not give an overall rating of 5 stars is because I do wish they had a larger staff of caregivers, HOWEVER, I know this is difficult to do in this business. Also, I should mention that the staff works well with the resident's families.

My mom's care and comfort
The care of this community is wonderful. We like that the community is clean and they have nice menu and she is please with the nice variety. They do have activities of the list of activiites that is has been offered to participate. We would have been happy with this community for the good care and the value for my mom. We like the size of the community that makes my mom comfortable.
