Happy with Pine Valley
My brother has been very satisfied with the conditions at Pine Valley. He always looks forward to breakfast as the menus is his favorite foods. He has been at several places; however, [name removed] has been more contented with the staff, his room and food than all other locations. He also has made friends with several occupants and visits often. At Pine Valley my brother enjoys being close to the stores where he likes to shop for his personal items and a burger or shake of his choice. All in all [name removed]feels very safe knowing that his family is close and able to visit often. Finally, A Place for Mom must be counted as sent from heaven. Without their help we would still be looking for a place where my brother would be contented in a place as good as Pine Valley for the cost just right. My Review of Pine Valley
My loved one was here and helped extend my loved one's life. The director was wonderful and then that director left. The new director was not as professional as the prior one for a short time.

For the price NOT a good deal, meals are NOT included, land line, and transportation also cost extra, building was dark, and lay out not very "user friendly for anyone that has a harder time walking.

Not a good set-up for seniors
The outside of this community is just beautiful and the staff did a great job showing us around, taking their time and answering all our questions. What really concerned us the most was the elevated and long hallways leading down to the apartments. We knew that this was just not going to be a good fit for my mother-in-law.

This is a great community for the care of the my mother in law. The staff are nice and caring and keep me updated on her progress. The meals are good and the variety is nice for her to choice from. They do offer some activites to the residents. We would recommend the care and the value of this community.

Care for my father
This is a good community. We liked this staff and there were caring and were able to answer my questions on the care that was offered. I was able to see the variety of activities that were offered here and I was impressed. I would have been happy if my father would have moved into this community and would recommend other families to see that atmosphere here for a loved one needing care.

Friendly staff that knew th...
Friendly staff that knew the residents' names. Bright, cheery, clean. Nice sized rooms that could be made to look like 'home.' The surroundings felt like a community. Residents seemed very happy and were interacting with one another. Loved it!
