HomeShare HealthCare is a unique, affordable alternative for seniors requiring long-term care due to advancing age, stroke or Alzheimer’s. Owned and operated by a husband and wife team, (he’s a nurse, she’s a nursing assistant and EMT-trained), and still going strong after 30 years!
Our licensed Adult Family Home on Spokane’s South Hill combines the comfort and appeal of a lovely Private Family Residence with 24-hour Professional Nursing Care by compassionate and experienced healthcare providers. We offer skilled nursing services, air conditioned private rooms, cable TV, laundry, home-cooked meals, individually tailored activity programs, and more.
Home Share HealthCare specializes in dementia and geriatric care, which includes Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke and diabetes management. Our residents typically stay from admission through end of life, as we are Hospice-trained with decades of professional nursing experience.
Free transportation is provided, and a nurse will accompany each resident to medical appointments.
Our home is on a quiet culdesac, and offers nature views with visiting deer and wild turkeys, facilitated by a large back deck and wheelchair ramp. We strive to create a comfortable and loving community for our residents that is exactly like living in their own home.

My mistaken choice.
I placed a friend here. Very friendly at first. That changed when I took my 97yr old friend to breakfast. I was informed how inconvenient that was for them to get him ready by 0900 as they have 2 others to tend to. I was encouraged to take him to lunches instead. He likes breakfast buffet at the casino not lunch. We stopped at Walmart on way home as he wanted a pillow for his chair. I was told that was silly , he had enough pillows for his chair. They also talked him out of his favorite down comfortor saying they had plenty of blankets and that he had said it was too warm. He later talked his son into bringing it back. I've worked in the medical field for years and a group home with 7 residents and it was a happy place. Several times during our discussion she mentioned the fact that this is our private home and we have a life. Burned out, maybe.?
