Less Expensive
The community is still under contruction but the part that is liveable is very nice and clean. I moved in two weeks ago and chose Highlands at River Crossing for the rent. It's less expensive than any of the other communities. They don't provide and care and so far, no activities.

The Highlands at River Crossing is conveniently located in the charming village of Winneconne, Wisconsin, near the beautiful Wolf River, and offers spacious one and two bedroom apartments for Active Seniors age 55 or better with some reserved for moderate income seniors.
Our community offers all the amenities of suburban living with the convenience of nearby shopping and restaurants, parks and recreation, medical facilities and clinics, and farmers markets.
Our buildings are fully equipped with elevators and locked entrances with intercoms, as well as gas forced-air heat with central air conditioning. Every apartments includes deluxe appliances, a balcony or patio, heated underground parking, additional storage and in-unit private washers and dryers.
Common areas include an exercise facility, library/media center, community center and more! Enjoy catered dinners, classes and seminars, card games and a variety of social events.
