Quiet and clean and designed for the homebodies!
The staff is friendly and works to become more like family than just a care taker. Facility was kept clean for the most part. However, if your love ones are bit on the social side and still mobile, implementing more activities outside the home is more beneficial to their health. Having to rely on family to always come is very hard when they may have a tight schedule themselves.
About the facility Haven Care- Evergreen
Haven Care Home Evergreen is an assisted living micro community located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There is a hospital that is less than 1 mile from the facility. This is perfect for the residents that need immediate care that is beyond the staff's control. Our staff is available to our residents 24/7. Our facility is a micro community meaning there is not a large amount of residents and we are able to focus our attention to each individual personally. Here at Haven Care Home Evergreen, we help guide our residents with their daily life needs. We will provide them 3 cooked meals per day within their dietary plan. We will also assist with bathing, toileting, light housekeeping, laundry, medication assistance, and regular check ins. Our residents have their independence but with the peace of mind that there is staff available. We have tons of activities scheduled for our patients to ensure they are getting exercise and socializing among their peers.

Horrible place.
If you love someone, do not trust this place. The owners are only in this business for the money. Our loved one experienced several broken bones on different occasions here.
The staff never acknowledged any falls or incidents. Other, more serious incidents also occurred there. Removed our loved one from this facility for their safety.

Haven Care has been proudly serving families since 1995, and while we understand that the care process can be emotionally challenging, it’s unfortunate that, at times, families can be difficult. In this case, multiple complaints were made directly to our staff rather than being reported to the appropriate authorities, such as the Albuquerque Police Department, the Ombudsman, or other health authorities. It was Haven Care’s administration that took the initiative to report these claims and ensure a thorough investigation was conducted.
Extensive investigations by the New Mexico Department of Health and the Albuquerque Police Department, including hundreds of hours of surveillance review, medical log audits, and numerous staff interviews, found the allegations to be baseless and unfounded. If these claims had been as serious as described by the family, one might ask why they didn’t remove their loved one immediately and initiate an investigation themselves.
As part of our normal operations, Haven Care is subject to unscheduled surveys by health authorities, and had any of these accusations been substantiated, we would have faced serious consequences. In fact, it was confirmed that many of the injuries in question, such as broken bones, were preexisting conditions. To protect the safety and well-being of our residents and staff, we required the resident’s relocation, as Haven Care will not tolerate false accusations or threats within our community. We stand by our model of compassionate care and remain committed to the safety of everyone under our roof.

Would highly recommend
[name removed] passed away in [date removed] after only a couple of months at Haven Care Evergreen. But they were wonderful for the short time she was there. This is the closest to one on one care there is. The manager at Evergreen, [name removed], kept my mother in the same room with her all day as Mother was having trouble adjusting.

Perfect place for Mom!
Staff is very kind and caring. They have made sure our mother was well cared for, just as we would care for her. They communicate with us daily and would communicate as much or as little as we request. They let us set the standard, which is really great. Safe, Secure, and reliable place to call home.
It's clean, has a nice open floor plan, and the staff/resident ratio is good. Very secure and in a good neighborhood.
