Overnight parking for guests
My apartment is beautiful, and I love my neighbors, but anyone moving here should know that having overnight guests who arrive by car is almost impossible. There is not enough parking in the surface lot. You will be told that there are 10 visitor spots for overnight guests.
However, these spots are always full, and usually taken by “ live in” roommates of those who live at Preserve. ( part of the complex) These people are not on the lease. Some who park in visitor spots have been here over a year. There is prohibition against this according to the lease but it is not enforced.
There are no parking alternatives. No street parking. If your guest arrives and there is no visitor spot available your guest is out of luck and will be towed if they park in the lot. So if having friends or family come for an overnight visit is important to you, look elsewhere.

Coerced into Leasing, Bullied As a Resident
Only one Assistant Manager has stayed 18 months while other Lead Managers have left; Asst Mngr lives onsite but repeatedly neglects to community in emergencies & traumatic events, including but not limited to power outages, vehicles blowing up in a surface lot, a police chase resulting in building damage & even a suicide. Same staff fails to allow Grief Counselors to support community or support possible pet friendly events & isolates non Christian community members. Despite it being a 55+ community NUMEROUS GUESTS UNDER AGE 55 are frequently found wandering & utilizing Game Room, Fitness Room, Business Center & Theatre Room w/o being accompanied by residents. Fees & use criteria for parking garage, storage areas, & room reservations are unspecified & often insinuated as being set punitively. Residents in poor health are fearful of leaving for EVEN SHORTTERM care & are OFTEN told to disable personal security alarms. Govt subsidies SHOULD be suspended due to management coercion.

At this point would not recommend under this management
Most of the problems here stem from the company who owns us (Dominium). The value is an issue considering the fact they are supposed to cap the rent at 3% and now a lot of the residents have it up anywhere near 10-11%. A lot of residents are moving out very fast, it is just a mess. It sees like they are double dipping. They just do a lot of questionable things. Also the location is not a good area - there are newer buildings near us and we have seen drug deals go down in the parking lots as well as seeing guns.

Bren Road Station
In order to get here, you should take Shady Oak Road off of 62.
The staff, residents, and community are all pretty good. We've had a couple of small issues, but they jumped on it right away and it was resolved immediately. I would recommend Bren Road Station to others.

Bren Road station is a beautiful property however the dog owners are huge problem they do not clean up behind their dogs inside and outside of the building however the staff is very pleasant and they take very good care of the property other than the problem with the dog owners I am very pleased

Comfortable place to live
I love it here but it was a lot with all of the paperwork getting into the community. It is very clean and they keep it up nicely. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had an elevator out for a few days and I felt like it should have been fixed faster but other than this everything is fine. My room is really big and that was one of the main things I liked about this community. We have a knitting group, crotchet and a game room where people get together. In comparison to some of the other places that I looked at this had a better value and was in a good location.

Horrible
I am typing this for my client as she stated to me "Hard to deal with". She was supposed to get a deposit like 7 weeks ago and still waiting. From my perspective, that isn't a good thing for renters like herself. She has been overwhelmed with the bad experience with that place.
