My father-in-law isn't a complainer, but the friends he's made are. Before Dad passed the memory care staff were great and even when he did pass. Now Mom is still in the apt in memory care with some dementia but still pretty independent so I worry sometimes they don't check on her enough and she doesn't like to come out to the commons area. The food was better it is not as good in the last couple of months . Mom eats in her apt so by the time it is delivered it is cold. They do let me eat with her without charging me. There has always been activities in memory care but Mom won't go. She has a key fob and can leave memory care to do other activities but chooses not to. It looks to me like they are better in the main building now them the last manager. \n Mom pays awful lot of money to be in memory care in her big apt but I am afraid once I move her to assisted living her memory would get worse and I would need to move her back.
