My wife was here 2 times over the past couple of years in rehab. My wife is in her 60s . Once after a car accident & once for liver counts. She thought that everything was good & would'nt hesitate to go back IF needed

Terrible
Terrible place for any loved one. My mom went from doing good to dying in this place. The help is terrible, the nurses were terrible, the time she was there was TERRIBLE. I know this won't make it to the reviews, and that is too bad for others

Terrible
This place is terrible, they staff was terrible, nurses were no where to be found at night, never came in when buzzer was lit, didn't do any rehab, just let her in the bed. They didn't do a thing for my mom she died there and they didn't have any compassion.

Terrible
It has taken me 9 months to write this. This by far is the worst place I have ever come across. It's dirty, so called nurses and aids are horrible not often could you get them into the room buzzer rang for 20 mins until I went and found someone in the back room. They don't show much compassion for the elders, and they hardly check on them. I believe they didn't take care of my mother, who passed away [date removed], with that being said everything was blamed on COVID for the lack of being told of daily updates. She went there for Rehab, but instead died, and it wasn't from COVID, but for lack of not doing their jobs. Look into this place as a very last option.

At home she was bored and fading rapidly due to kidney problems and progressive dementia. Bear Hill has revitalized her, even as her short-term memory reduced to about 10 minutes. They have many activities each day and she usually enjoys at least to 2 or 3 (they come to get her as she usually forgets if she doesn't read her board). The staff is very attentive and respectful, caring for her in a way we feel secure and all her needs are met. We have seen other facilities with different family members and this is easily the best.

A good place, for what it is
The care here is good, and the rehab staff in particular were great. But it still just felt like a nursing home. The staff do all the right things and work hard, but it's still just not a pleasant place. It's good as far as nursing homes go, but if you have any other options when it comes to type of long term care try those first.
