Arabella of Kilgore is the in the backyard of the old Laird Memorial Hospital, which is now known for housing the Kilgore College Nursing Program. Kilgore offers a convenient ER, Christus Good Shepherd Emergency Room, as well as two local urgent cares. Our community is in a quiet, wooded area on approximately 6 acres. The walking paths outdoors are a pleasant place to get exercise while enjoying nature’s sights and sounds. Our residents most enjoy gardening in one of our two courtyards where the residents have recently grown tomatoes, peppers, and watermelons. One courtyard has a beautiful setting of roses and other flowers that attract the many types of birds and butterflies in the area while the other courtyard is home of a family turtles, including three baby turtles which, is enjoyed by all the residents and staff. We are honored to showcases on our Wall of Honor the many Veterans that have lived or are currently living with us. The Townhomes are connected to each other, which makes it easier for residents check on each other, visit outside under a shade tree or the patio area encompassed by our beautiful azaleas. Each Townhome offers a private covered carport with double storage areas, as well as a shaded patio in the back.
