We maintain a small library stacked with books on various subjects – a beautiful and immersive feature. Take a stroll outdoors and relax on our patio, where you’ll find lounge areas with comfortable chairs to relax in and read a great book. There are also tables for you to play cards, board games, and table tennis. We have plenty of dedicated relaxation areas to encourage close, neighborly ties.</p> <h3>Living Arrangements</h3> <p>Aarondale offers a number of room layouts to suit your preference. We have one bedroom and studio units with wheelchair access, as well as companion units, for residents who would like to live with a roommate or partner. Resident rooms are equipped with kitchenettes for those who would like to prepare some of their own meals in the privacy of their personal spaces. To provide a comfortable environment, our community has air conditioning, and temperatures are regulated to optimize safety. We also employ an emergency calling system for each room to create an accessible safety network and give residents peace of mind. Residents are also given access to local phone, cable television, and wireless internet services.</p> <h3>Onsite Activities</h3> <p>Both indoors and out, there are plenty of options in our community to keep you busy no matter what may suit your mood. At Aarondale, we maintain a daily exercise routine for the physical and mental well-being of those who choose to participate. We also employ various techniques to develop activities which promote cognitive retention along with sensory and physical development, while providing opportunities for engagement and connection. In our community village, we host movie nights to screen your favorite films, and provide craft areas where you can stretch your creative muscles. There are spaces that we treat as quiet reading rooms, for those who would prefer a more relaxed setting. Several classes are taught at our community for seniors seeking some new and interesting pastimes, in fields such as cooking, languages, or yoga.</p> <h3>Dining</h3> <p>Aarondale employs local chefs to prepare meals for our residents – our menus are designed to have peak nutritional benefits and are crafted in part by registered dieticians.
