Youville is a very small and welcoming facility. It is not flashy but very homey. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The staff is very attentive to the residence. Often ask if there's anything you need or can do for you. I often see people enjoying themselves that are in there. this has been a great fit for my mom as she does like to spend time by herself and in the chapel. People do allow her her privacy. I can't say enough good things about Youville. It's the perfect fit for my mom.

I am very glad to be here. It would be better if there were more opportunities to interact with younger people on a regular basis. One thing I miss is interesting discussions about current events. I do enjoy the programs they offer on Zoom that teach about famous composers, etc. I moved here because this place is many times better in all ways. Another place that seemed amenable was too expensive. My interaction with the staff has been very good.

We couldn't be more grateful to have our mom in the loving and capable hands of the Youville community. The Memory Care Unit there is top-notch. To this day, given all the challenges with her Alzheimer's, we feel it is one of the best decisions that we have made. The place is clean, thoughtfully designed, and well managed. The staff is also excellent. They care for my mom's every need and keep her mind stimulated. We couldn't be more grateful for the Youville Courtyard and all they do each day to keep her happy and safe!

My sister entered the memory care unit at Youville very early. I am impressed with all the available programs for the residents to keep them engaged. I participate in those programs and have a great time with [name removed] and the other residents. During COVID, the staff was outstanding. We were informed by Youville management on a weekly, if not daily, about what was happening in the Courtyard. I can't say enough about the dedication of all the staff. Thank you.

I feel so fortunate that our Mother is living in a nurturing and safe place. Nothing is better than visiting unannounced and seeing her happily engaged in an activity with a big smile on her face. Plus, she loves the meals!

My mother has been a resident for three years and has received wonderful care. The activities and programming have been stimulating and the staff has been consistently supportive and professional under the most challenging circumstances throughout the pandemic.

In March, I finally forgo my fear of a stressful move & joined Youville. The move went smoothly, & I had a dinner partner to feel at home. The housekeeping staff helped me to sleep on my freshly made bed the first night. My daughter visited me to help me to settle in- She was impressed with the smooth running of the facility commenting "I could also get old here." I appreciate that the management sees us, as “individuals" not just ‘paying tenants. They respect each resident here as a retired but experienced contributor to society. Management genuinely values & respects the retirees’ needs for the remembrance of personal pride &dignity. There are programs designed for seniors to share their expertise & memory. A weekly ‘Open Rehearsals’ program allows residents to enjoy a retired music teacher expertise with a piano recital. A new program, ‘True Stories’ offers the residents the opportunity to grace us with their memorable life stories & culture. I enjoy my life at Youville very much.

In [date removed], my sister-in-law moved into Youville. As her only living relative, I manage my sister-in-law's finances and health care needs. First and foremost, my sister-in-law has been very happy at Youville. She feels safe, well cared for, valued and enjoys the numerous activities offered for socialization. As a care-giver, I've found Youville to be very responsive to any concerns I have regarding my sister-in-law well being or needs. In the worst of times in 2020, Youville's management and staff have were ready, willing and able to assist with skill, kindness, concern and love. I feel my sister-in-law now has an extended family, as do I, thanks to management and staff at Youville. There can be tough days and obstacle, and nothing in life is ever perfect, but Youville comes close!

My mother lived at Youville Place in Lexington, Massachusetts for six months during the [date removed] for what was a recovery and "Respite" period following her fall in [date removed]. My mother's care was first rate. Her stay at Youville enabled her to fully heal and to return to her home just recently. During her stay she made several friends and enjoyed the cultural, spiritual and fitness activities offered at Youville. This is an organization focused on care. When she is ready to give up her home Youville will always be her first choice for Assisted Living.

I highly recommend Youville Place! The staff are skilled, kind, thorough and heavily invested in the well-being of the residents. We feel incredibly fortunate that Youville Place had an opening for our family member. Our family member often says, "I wish I didn't need to live in an assisted living environment. But since I do, this is the very best place I could be." We could not agree more.

My mother lives here for two and half years. Both the residents and staff are very kind. She said people here treats her like a family member. She can also attend many activities that she liked, such as exercise, music events, dance. The facility environment both outside and inside is very nice.

Mom has been a resident of YouVille for over 3 years and during very trying times with the. Pandemic hitting in 2020. The staff at YouVille went to extraordinary lengths to ensure the safety of residents with regular testing and COVID vaccines. They also ensured social distancing to all while still providing excellent meal services, medical and other assisted living services. We were grateful that Mom was in the safest place possible given the circumstances. The staff also went to great lengths to get programs and activities back on track once it was safe.

My grandmother moved to Youville in [date removed] and we couldn't be happier. She has daily activities, which are different every week. She enjoys a variety of foods and plenty of trips. Youville staff goes above and beyond to care for residents. From the front desk staff, to the administration, to the healthcare workers, to the dining room and maintenance staff, everyone is so pleasant and respectful. My grandmother has made great friendships and has felt so welcomed from day one. Every time I visit, I am welcomed by staff and other residents with such warmth. There is a beautiful library and game room with a fireplace between, country kitchens for visits, a community room, communal computer, and plenty of sitting nooks throughout the facility. Youville has been such a gem for our family. We are beyond grateful to have found such a comfortable, loving, and caring community for my grandmother. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

When my mother came to Youville Place four years ago, she was depressed and in ill health. Now she is a vibrant 97-year-old who looks forward to eating with her friends everyday, going to fun activities (her favorites are ballroom dancing and bingo), and entertaining family members in her apartment and the Country Kitchen. She is finally able to go to church again and does so everyday. The chapel, which is very near her apartment, is open 24/7. In addition, her health has actually improved, even through the challenges of the pandemic. As her daughter, I no longer worry about how well she is taken care of or what will happen in a crisis. I firmly believe Youville Place, with its beautiful facility and dedicated, compassionate staff, has added years to my mother's life.

Our Mom needed to find a place that could provide the immediate services she needed now, with the expansive services of memory care if that day were to come. From the day we stepped through the doors of Youville Place, we were welcomed. The staff was extraordinarily engaging with our Mom, and comforting to her children that she has found a new home. They helped in all ways possible to create a space she would feel comfortable. Having the chapel was such an added bonus and the food our Mom can't say enough about. We couldn't be happier with her choice to become part of the Youville Place community, and we can't thank them enough for welcoming her.

The Youville House is a wonderful community, it is very pleasing to look at with all the décor and the rooms are nicely furnished. The staff here are very good and they have lots of activities - they are limited right now with covid but usually they have a lot of different things including music entertainment. The AC system works very well. They have a wonderful meals and dining program - the chef puts the meals together and before it gets put on the menu it goes through a dietary checklist and the meals are a great variety. I could not be happier I am very satisfied

my mother in law moved in Youville House for specific Parkinson's support they offered, but when she arrived we learned that there was little to no support although that was the driving force for us choosing this community. the nursing staff was great, but their marketing team seemed like they just wanted to fill a bed there and didn't have her best interest. from the front desk staff to the dining staff, they were all great but we really struggled with their management team and the people who sold the community to us- it just wasn't the best experience. during the tour we were told there was supposed to be a Parkinson's support group, exercise classes, and medication management. we inquired about all of those things, but it quickly became complicated. the Parkinson's group simply did not exist. the exercise class was too advanced. they presented the medication management as a program that would sort and bring up medication on time, but we found that they had trouble sorting the medication or bringing it up at the right time. I really feel like they oversold the physical support that they would be able to provide. she had several falls and they told us it wouldn't work unless we got her more help - but we were under the impression that they would be that help? there was a big difference in what was shown during our tour and what happened when she moved in, I feel like they oversold us. it's also important to note that she went to rehab for three weeks and no one called or checked in on her, and I found that very concerning - it just wasn't a good experience.
