Excellent, Excellent care here! My husband was at another Rehab and he was not doing well. This rehab is so beautiful. The surrounding is humble and uplifting. Especially for my husband as he is demanding. We came here and our favorite place to spend time is in a sunroom. We have been here for rehab for 1 month & 1 week. My husband has blossomed. He is smiling every day. This place was highly recommended by friends. I drive longer but it is worth it. The Rehab and RN team is what makes St Joseph Place very very special. I'd recommend to everyone. They know how to approach and work with everyone. St. Joseph family is A+!

I like this community for the great care. He likes that he is able to cook his own meals. He likes the activities that he has made friends. This is a nice area and the community center is good for him to be active. I would highly recommend this community to other families.

So far, we have only taken a tour of the Palestine Commons. My loved one will be moving into the community soon. We chose this place because her apartment was nice, they have a community center that offers meals and activities for the residents. The tour guide communicated very well with us. Overall, it was a clean and up-kept place.

While I was online I got to see a bunch of communities but I chose this one because I saw a bunch of good reviews. The staff is really nice. They’re friendly and personable. The staff makes sure my mom gets what she needs. They help her walk through the halls and move around. The staff always knows what’s going on with my mom and they address any concerns quickly. My mom hasn’t been able to try the food yet because she’s still trying to get settled but her room does have a full kitchen with a dishwasher, stove, and refrigerator. The rooms do come unfurnished and you have to provide everything inside of it, although, they do have an in-room washer and dryer. The facility does offer activities such as a bible study night, bingo, group dinners, and they have a small gym. I would really recommend this facility.

I like the community for the care for my mom. Most of the staff have been friendly, but some of the staff have not been too kind to and they had very strict rules in this community. My sister does like it there and she is making friends. The community is clean .and they do offer meals. I know she is active with some of the other residents. I would recommend this community if they had some friendlier manager for other families.

St. Joseph Place is really clean and organized. The meals provided for my mother are good the portions are of right size and the meals taste good. The housekeeping is doing a good job of maintaining her room up-kept. At the moment my mother is not participating in activities but the staff is encouraging her to a level of comfort.

The staff at this community are very helpful. When my aunt first moved in she was not able to stay in her apartment so they found her another one. They also helped her move so she would not have to pay movers again. She likes to participate in bingo twice a week. It is a clean community that I would recommend.

I took the tour. Bathrooms are much larger than need be and almost equal the bedroom in floor space.Air conditioner units are located on the west side of the building with a southern exposure which means that they are not as energy efficient as they could be. Management seems nice and the apartments are new. The apartments are located within one city block of another complex that has been known for a high crime rate. I decided against this option.

If their claim of "no smoking allowed" entices you to rent an apartment, take head that it is NOT enforced. The cigarette smoke goes through the vents into other apartments. My daughter is moving out after living there for 8 yrs. Also, the manager will not listen to complaints from the non-smokers about people smoking in their apartments --- she is a smoker herself.

checked in my mom because she has severe dementia. she was there for a short period of time. this place sucks in rehab and paying attention to patients. patients could lay in their carp for hours before changed. my mother went into seizure because of dehydration causing her kidneys to collapse. place sucks, do not take you loved ones to this place.

As with other review we also had trouble when our mother passed away . We moved my moms things in 3 days to save paying for next months rent . Went in to give keys to management and the office was locked up tight as she had went on vacation . Upon returning we went in to give keys . We were prorated and added a late fee for non returning of the keys. MANAGEMENT of this building has went downhill since my grandma lived there for 18 years . New owners Monroe Group needs to over see this bullding and the current managers . Building has been renovated but is not kept clean . Not well maintained at all anymore . And for non - smoking - everyone smokes No one does a thing to enforce it .

If anyone in your family moves into this building do not expect much. They do not do maintenance on their apartments. They have a long standing bed bug issue that they refuse to believe or take care of. They pick and choose who is allowed to have pets and who's issues will be fixed. All is decided by the [removed] in the office and the [removed] maintenance man. Who you can find playing on the computers provided for the elderly. This building and its management are [removed] our tax dollars and our parents and grandparents. This is not a place to put anyone that you care about. My lesson has been learned.

I am disgusted by the management at this building, specifically the administrator, Vivian. My aunt lived here and after she passed away, we informed the office and started gathering her things. Vivian illegally demanded we give the keys back and would not let us into the apartment, stating the items would be donated after 30 days. We called their corporate lawyer and the police and eventually got it all but the fact that this woman put us through this whole ordeal after losing a loved one is disgusting. She also illegally entered the apartment after she took our keys. I am in shock that someone could be so foul.
