Amazing place

Caring Arms has been a life saver for my family and I. I cannot express how wonderful they have been for my Dad. We tried a bigger place, but it didn’t work and he needed a place more like a home. Caring Arms only has up to six adults at one time, so they take such great care of everyone. The food is home cooked and it’s always so clean. My Dad loves them so much there. Thank you for taking such good care of him when we couldn’t.

This is a beautiful home and the owner is wonderful. I have minimal concerns about this facility being totally secure. I also worry about the ability to keep my mother-in-law stimulated. However, we are putting her in their care. It's a difficult decision, but I feel we've made the right one.

Comfortable Home

The caregivers are extremely rude and not welcoming at Caring Arms Adult Family Home. I haven't seen them do any activities. Most of the patients are highly medicated and sleeping. The owners of this place are great. The caregivers on the other hand are so rude and antisocial. They do seem to take good care of the patients which is all that matters.

They Care about the money

My husband was a resident at their Sumner house for about 3 months. During that time he lost 30 pounds and his behavior became unmanageable. After removing him from their care he has gained weight and his behaviors are managed. The food they offer is processed and frozen at most meals. There is little to no nutritional value in a lunch of white bread, processed packaged sandwich meat, potato chips and store brand Oreo cookies. The 3 slices of canned peaches might have some nutritional value buried in the heavy syrup. The $[removed] a month they charged was not money well spent. They didn’t inform me when my husbands feet and legs swelled and their staff did not know how to care for a resident with Lewy Body dementia. Staff members called my husband nicknames which is very confusing to dementia patients. One staff member said “that’s your wife? I thought I was your wife” to my confused and vulnerable husband. They are not a good choice in my opinion.
