Oakmont Senior Communities

We chose it because the place was a great value for all of the amenities and services provided-- services like housecleaning,meals, laundry, making my mom's bed-- all help reduce the risk of my mom falling or being injured so she can live longer. These amenities came at a lower monthly cost vs other properties. And i can se her everyday since she lives 5 minutes away. She enjoys the activities and is an active member of the community. We like that there are other Spanish speakers and she feels very comfortable there and safe. She made friends immediately and is enjoying her new life at Oakmont.

Overall Oakmont stood out from the rest. From the friendly staff and residents, to the apartment layouts and the cost.

Everyone at Oakmont Livonia have been super friendly and helpful. The additional services that are available have enabled my mother to stay as her needs have increased. We would definitely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far .

Comparatively it was our best option for the price. My mom was only there for 30 days for physical rehab. Her room was super far from an elevator so wheeling down to meals was a bit tough but too costly to add on a concierge service. Overall we would recommend to others and may be back at some point. Mom is doing good so far so good.

Staff and residents are very friendly but we are to them! My family have all been pleased at how clean and welcoming Oakmont is. The staff encourage my mom to participate as much as she can and cheer her on!

My mother just started her search for senior living. [name removed]gave us a tour of the community. The community is so clean and everyone was so friendly. [name removed] gave us so much information and took the time to answer our questions. We were on a time crunch but she even gave mom some meal tickets to come back to enjoy a meal. My mom isn’t ready quite yet but when she is we will be choosing parkway.

I moved my father here about a month ago and I could not be happier. The staff is so welcoming. They have wonderful amenities and the food is also very good! The second you walk into parkway you can feel the family atmosphere. Would recommend this place over and over again!

Mom says that most meals are good, a few not so good. Overall, an excellent experience. Mom is happy and that's the main thing. [Name removed], who does the initial interview and tour, is outstanding.

The cleanliness of the community is a 5+. Our loved one is in independent living so he does not need the care at this time. With the new activities director is hoping to improve the activities. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend Oakmont Livonia to other families.

Extremely clean. Staff and people there very friendly. Great pt on site, mom loves the food and great selection. Activities are good, only thing is they have cancelled several of the trips out,, so that is a bit disappointing but still lots to do there. Apartments are a perfect size for my mom. I would highly recommend

Being in the industry, you see many different things throughout the communities. Oakmont Manor is a beautiful, clean, friendly, active and peaceful community; so much so that 2 of my relatives have moved here! I highly recommend this community for Independent Living!

Very clean, friendly community that has everything you need in one location. Highly recommend to everyone. My mom and mother in law love living here. Activities offered daily, excellent meals and transportation if needed.

After having looked at many levels and qualities of places, here close to my own home and there, I was impressed with the entire place. The staff is very nice and welcoming. The facility is spotless. The food is ok. It's a very homey atmosphere, in a sophisticated way. The furnishings and décor are bright and well done. The price is very reasonable, too. I would recommend Oakmont Sterling to family and friends.

I would tell others looking into Oakmont Livonia that they are very accommodating, and all of the staff are friendly and cheerful. Mom is in a one bedroom apartment, the size it quite ample, she living room furniture and a kitchen table. The refrigerator is a bit small, but enough. We had the stove disconnected.

My mom is so happy here! The facility and staff are very very welcoming and really care about the residents. They have had staffing issues like everyone else which limits choices on meals and means residents get served dinner in their room occasionally. Less breakfasts of just cereal. Mom hates mushrooms and says they put them in eggs etc. If these are the only complaints she has, then I think they are doing well!

This is a really nice community with a great variety of activities - they have so many different types of games, bingo, musical entertainment, exercise programs and church groups. Based on our experience we would recommend this community to other families.

They're very kind and make everybody feel very welcome. There's a wide variety of food that is well-prepared by a good cook. We appreciate that it's not just the same things over and over. And my loved one is very comfortable there and very safe.

My mom says she feels like she is on vacation living here. The only thing I would say they could make it better is if they could get someone to either come in and do a Catholic mass on the weekend or take the people out who would like to go.

This facility was very nice and clean. The Care team was contracted/outside hired company and they seemed less personal. Communication with the family wasn't good, especially when we went out of town. We asked to be kept up to date and they agreed, but there was no follow through. Every place has their issues and I know that. Overall, this one was pretty good all things considered. I would recommend them to friends and family.

We picked this community because it seemed to check off everything that we needed, inclusing prices, the environment, and location was perfect. The advising from staffing, to get everything set-up went well. Overall, we are very pleased.
