Someday it did smell like urine when you walked in the door very rare, though.. I did feel like they could have spent more attention with them. Activity director was awesome. It's just staff did not follow through. Better than other memory care Prices.

I rate them 5 on all categories. Exceptionally professional and caring. The director's competence and professionalism. Immediately we knew we wanted our mother to live there.

The dining staff is very helpful with [name removed] special needs. The caregivers are also very thoughtful and we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Lots of changes over the last year. It’s nice to see everyone smiling and happy. New staff along with the staff that has been there since I moved my parents in. I love the gal that does the activities! She has people in the activity room and the residence love Bingo! ?? I lost my dad [date removed] last year and wrote a bad review which was very appropriate at that time. But the staff that has come through all the changes have been both supportive and very helpful. A year ago I would have turned people away from this place. Today I would not. One of the things I have loved from the beginning are the residence! I love so many people here! When I visit my mom I visit everyone! I’ve come to love the staff as well. Today we enjoyed a wonderful 4th of July celebration with bounce house for the kids visiting, and a taco truck. Snow cones and great company with everyone out and about.

If they have an opening for your loved one, take it immediately. [removed] should be considered the leader in the quality of and high level of care one can and should expect in a memory care facility. They seemed both professional and caring and it proved true. . Each staff member was wonderful. Best decision we made for [name removed]. Excellent care given.

WOW [name removed] focus on client care is unwavering. he exudes all the qualities of an ideal caregiver including patience, resourcefulness, punctuality, and reliability. especially if they are having a difficult day/Night. [name removed] is a great trainer for other caregivers who shadow him as he is attentive to details and explains things in a way that’s easy for others to understand.

My family and I arrive at the building to take my father back home and WOW WOW???? Graveyard crew do an amazing job cleaning the restrooms and areas where residents gather . On top of that, very amazing with my father's needs when he came back home. I was able to go home and sleep without worrying about my dad, and it's been a long time since my dad has been well taken care of by the staff, which relieves my stress a lot. THANK YOU

At Greenlake, in Gig Harbor, my mama gets amazing care and treatment. Everyone there knows mama and me by name and gives her that special care that I have not seen in any other location. She is treated with respect and love, and they truly care about how happy and comfortable she is. I feel so blessed to have Greenlake to take care of my mama! I HIGHLY recommend this location for your loved ones. Thank you Greenlake!

I really appreciated them for calling me when he was in his last days . We signed him up for hospice that day but he passed before they could start. We all had a chance to say goodbye. His brother, sister and 3 children. When I visited him he was happy and well taken care of. Clean clothes , brushed hair and teeth. No body odor. The staff was friendly and he liked one in particular. The activity director said he keep her laughing. He had a great since of humor. The food was good since he didn't lose too much weight. He never mentioned it so I assume it was good. Everything was clean. So overall I was happy he was well taken off. It was the least expensive all the 3 centers I toured.

Not sure if it is the same management they changed names but when I was there they were all great I really don't have any complaints they let us come and go as we wanted they were concerned about what she like to eat, and many other details, she had a room to herself, [name removed] was the manager at that time she was great. They were very clean neat organized good meals dependable and kind. That's not only my opinion but I talked to my sister and brothers as well they all agreed

I would recommend Royal Columbian to anybody. The people are very kind and the facilities are kept up well. I've never seen any people just sitting around not being attended to. They're always in and out with my loved one. They're never sitting there by themselves for hours without anybody checking in on them. I personally like their services. The staff is wonderful and hardworking. They're there to help and they try to make the living situations for the residents very enjoyable and almost like living in their own homes. They play games, Bingo, Bus rides. There's a group that provides music for the residents, they have birthday parties, there are social events , bible studies, and people from various religions coming in. They have food options very happy with staff good job ;)

I like this community for the outstanding care that is given here. The community is clean and my dad likes the nice staff who are attentive. he is enjoying the activities and seems to be pleased with the meals that are offered. We would recommend other families to this nice place for the care of a family member. My dad loves [name removed]. He Exhibits friendliness, genuineness, caring, compassion, and sensitivity. Shares heart by taking steps to be the bright spot in someone’s day. Keep up the good work :)

A hosted Thanksgiving Dinner to visit my parents was such a blessing. The Staff was friendly and dinning decorated for the holiday. My parents were very happy to have a guest. They love living at the beach . Such a nice way for family to enjoy the holiday.

Staff welcomed us in and got us checked in and they were very nice to us and all the staff took care of everything. Everyone seamed to be taken care of and the facility was very clean and wasn’t dirty.

Love the staff love the residence friendly environment. It’s very welcoming and a lovely place to stay. They help all your needs. If you are a person in need of assisted living this is a perfect place for you.

All the staff are very welcoming and nice. It is a very nice living, very clean, and always ready for your needs. If you are a person in need of help this is a perfect place for you to come and live.

They could work to improve on there staffing especially their nursing team and they could also work on their food portions - need to be more

The staff is INCREDIBLY nice and incredibly helpful. One of the main things that sticks out about this facility is the food. It is really good and they have a lot of fresh foods and it is great quality. The only thing they do not have is a lot of outdoor space to walk around just because it is on a busy street. I would recommend Emerald City to others looking.

We are very happy with how our experience with Emerald City Senior Living has turned out. So far we like everything there.
