Forced to live here
Where does all of the HUD money go? It's not going into in property maintenance, that's for sure. No security cameras, unreliable heating and air conditioning, toxic faucet water, gangs, drugs, and drunks. Management claims they can't afford to install security cameras on the parking lot or in the hallways. Heat in the apartments at 60° in the winter because they won't replace an old boiler. No air conditioning in the common areas or hallways in the summer because they can't afford to fix it. Add that to clogged clothes dryer vents and it's +100° in August. Bad plumbing fixtures and damaged appliances because there is no money in the budget for that. Moldy kitchen cabinets and closets too expensive to replace. Unauthorized apartment entrance and burglary, because they can't afford to change the door locks. Their employees live in McMansions and drive new vehicles while they tell the tenants to be "grateful" for the drafty windows and mold infested roof over their head. This is a 55+ and Disability building.
