They like a lot of places got short staffed and that did affect his care. I'd say one way to help with this is to be honest with the families and see if they have family or people that can help from time to time with their own family. I did this because I saw the need . It would have been nice to have been asked. I was thanked by the staff for helping. Also, in the end we got Hospice to come in and help. Most families do not know that Hospice is an option for six months to a year of a person passing away. I wished we would have known because we would have used them to help at the Jubliee before we did.
