I don't know how it happened but this wonderful person called me and said I think I could help you with your father and I will evaluate him and give you an answer they came up with a 24-hour care for my father and the most beautiful place I can ever put a parent in I was amazed of the care that they give my father. They had their head of facilities available to assist us. We had to make them aware of when we planned to move in and he was available. He assisted with tools and hanging things on the walls. My loved one likes the food and it sounds like they vary the menu. Communication with the family is currently lacking since they transitioned to a new company at the time that our loved one moved in. They state that they are working on it and will be sending out mass emails and bulletins to family members. The activities are great. A monthly activity calendar is provided to the residents as well as posted on the bulletin board. I would recommend Woodbourne Place because they are very responsive. It is clean and they appear to be very attentive to my loved one's needs. They appear to keep the residents busy. They can attend the activities if they want to or not. They do their best to encourage. They provide grooming like shaving, nail cutting and haircuts. They provide laundry services too.
