Review for Holiday Vista del Rio
I would also say that they are fair priced for all that it includes. The rooms are a little small, but that's ok. One person doesn't need much space especially when they encourage residents to socialize and not isolate in the apartment. I would say the community is well kept, the staff are very friendly and keeps me informed on resident updates, they are flexible with working with families to accommodate needs.

Not for the young at heart
I was told this was INDEPENDENT wrong!!! . Maybe 5 other people besides myself can walk. There are people drooling, being helped to eat, bathe, take pills. very little activity, and what there is, is not for INDEPENDENT seniors. No exercise classes like the brochure says. Nothing here is what the brochure says or what I was told.

Review for Holiday Vista del Rio
Mom liked the people we met but she is not fond of the food and it takes a long time to get things in her apartment fixed. Keep looking and ask lots of questions regarding maintenance and menu. The people are very nice but I'm not sure I would recommend them, due to the untimely maintenance and the food.

I think with this job market, the staff is not that good. The food is served cold. This is not just here, but at other places as well.
They have very unique cottages here, not found at too many places. My loved one absolutely loves the accommodations.

Mother has never been happier!
Mother moved to Vista del Rio a year ago. She is having the time of her life! She loves the staff, residents, and is enjoying fun activities. At 98, (likely the eldest Senior there) she is thriving . She speaks highly of Director, [name removed], and all the workers. She has made many friends, all who enjoy the activities provided by [name removed]. My goodness, how they treasure him! I participate with Mother in some activities and have observed the fun everyone has with [name removed]. The place is a true family. [name removed]and [name removed]are delightful. The housekeepers are kind and efficient. The office staff are helpful and caring. Mother loves having her independence while being surrounded by a caring community she truly loves and enjoys. Her life is rich and full at Vista del Rio. She tells me every day how happy she is. I have shared meals with her periodically and enjoyed them very much. We celebrated her 98th birthday at Vista. It was wonderful! Thanks to [name removed], [name removed], and everyone who made it special.

Great Place for A Loved One
This is a great place for your loved one to stay. The staff is wonderful. My friend is on a fixed budget and it is working out great for my friend. The medical is as needed, it is independent living; however, they have great rates for the medical care if your loved one needs it. True Story: Our friend was nervous about looking at communities, and my friend knew that this is the place they wanted to live within the first 5 minutes.
The staff truly cares about the residents. They go above and beyond in caring for the residents.
There are three meals a day, and the residents have choices to choose from. There are also snacks available during activities.

Great experience with Vista del Rio, the residents are extremely pleasent to be around and are all very welcoming. Had a meal and it was good. There are a few different things to choose from. The rent is good priced for what it comes with.

A Very Happy 5 Year Resident
My father-in-law has been a resident of Vista Del Rio for a little more than 5 years. The care and concern that management and staff show towards their residents is outstanding. While COVID required flexibility and forced many changes, the management and staff have consistently gone above and beyond to keep residents safe while also taking great strides to meet their social needs.
Efforts to keep lines of communications open have been commendable. Again, the management and staff do an amazing job attending to the residents and accommodating their individual personalities.
Our family is very happy that, together with my father-in-law, we selected Vista Del Rio when we did. While our Dad gets out and around, Vista is his home and his community.

We went on a scheduled tour to Holiday Vista Del Rio with a group of our family members.
The grounds are very nice and well kept, all common areas and areas including room models we saw were very open and clean.
Everyone whom we came into contact with that worked there was super friendly and very polite.
Overall seemed like a wonderful place.

Highly recommend, prefect fit
All of the staff here are wonderful. I can barely go visit my mom because she is always busy with the activities they have going on. They did drop bingo though and we want that to come back - everyone loves it. The food is amazing and the chef is fantastic. Residents get a menu with choices to choose from. I looked at 25 different places and Holiday Vista Del Rio hands down was the perfect fit economically and geographically. I would absolutely recommend them to others looking.

Everyone has been so helpful and my experience so far has been wonderful, I really have no big complaints. The food served is ok but could be better. Overall I would recommend Holiday Vista Del Rio to others.

we toured Vista del Rio and had a very nice experience. the tour guide(s) were very versed and did a wonderful job. my loved one did not want to live above the first floor and Vista del Rio did not have any availability below the second floor. the distance from the elevator and to common spaces was also an issue. we chose another community because they had better pricing and everything was on a singular level.
