We have since moved dad to \"the cottage\" (on site memory care) and mom is only a short walk down the hall to go visit with dad and have meals with him any time she wants. \nThe staff and level of care are wonderful - not only do they know who our parents are, they really know them as individuals and can tell you all about them!\nThere are tons of social activities and opportunities for the residents to be active and get to know one another - and you can tell the residents have a bond with one another. \nThe rooms are lovely - very spacious feeling with nice windows and thoughtful layout. There are plenty of public spaces for residents to sit and visit with one another or be outside on a nice day.\nThe food is outstanding and the chef puts out a great menu with nice variety. Specialized amenities include interactive work and life stations, sensory boxes, pet therapy, and more.</p> <h3>State Classification</h3> <p>The Ridglea Assisted Living and Memory Care is a <em>Type B assisted living facility</em>. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows:</p> <h4>Assisted Living Facility</h4> <p>A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s.
