Everyone is super friendly here. It's a small community. The staff knows everyone by name and really seem to know each resident and their needs. My mom is pretty independent, but did fall ill for a short time and the staff handled it so well. They checked on her often, took her temperature frequently, and just monitored her to make sure she was comfortable and had what she needed. I wasn't able to be there and I appreciated knowing that she was well taken care of during that time. The staff here is remarkable, we couldn't ask for better. Mom is happy and that's all that matters. One thing I did notice, in the short time that mom has been here, we've witnessed two or three residents who came in for Assisted Living be transitioned to Memory Care. I saw the staff recognize the needs of those residents, evaluate them and their care needs, and get them transitioned to Memory Care so that those needs could be met. It was really great to see that extra effort and care being given, very comforting. One thing I would suggest is a couple of benches for the residents to sit on out back. There's a big Soccer Field area back there and the residents love to watch the kids play Soccer. I see them standing at the back door frequently, just enjoying watching the kids play. They do have benches in the front, but I think the residents would really enjoy having some out back!
